Our Aims:
Our PE Curriculum
We are incredibly proud of our fun, inclusive and progressive PE curriculum. Our curriculum has been developed to meet the needs of our children and the requirements of the national curriculum. We offer our children a broad range of experiences and try to include activities that they enjoy. We continually refine our curriculum to ensure the best possible experiences are provided for our children.

Active 60
All children and young people take part in at least 60 minutes of physical activity everyday!
To meet the Chief Medical Officers’ guidance on physical activity, schools, parents and the sport sector must work together to ensure that children and young people have access to at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. As set out in the Childhood Obesity Plan, at least 30 minutes should take place in schools, and the remaining 30 outside the school day.
As a school, we have a strong passion and commitment to the ‘active 60 agenda’. There are many ways in which we aim to promote physical activity in school.

School Games Mark
We are delighted to announce that we achieved the School Games Gold Mark for the 2022/23 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Sports Partnerships
We feel at Elloughton that working with many outside partnerships allows our pupils and teachers to learn from expert coaches and instructors in their field. We aim to offer children a wider variety of sports and links to local clubs. We would like to thank the following for all their support:
FlexDance
Nuffield Tennis
Chance to Shine (Yorkshire Cricket Board)
