​At Elloughton Primary School we encourage children to develop their creativity within many areas of the curriculum. Music plays an important role in helping pupils express themselves, develop confidence and explore their talents.

Music Lessons
To support children in developing their musical skills, we offer peripatetic music lessons delivered by two established companies which take place during the school day.

The Music Box

The Music Box currently offer lessons in:

• Musicianship
• Ukulele
• Guitar
• Keyboard

Lessons may be available as group or individual sessions. All lesson arrangements, payments and communication are managed directly through The Music Box.

​Rocksteady

Rocksteady Music School deliver fun and inclusive rock and pop band lessons, right here at Elloughton! These weekly music lessons take place in our dedicated music Studio on Friday afternoons and are led by professional musicians who make learning music fun.
It’s the perfect way to learn new musical skills, make friends and have a great time – all at school! Rocksteady lessons are also shown to amplify confidence, wellbeing and social skills.

• There’s no experience necessary and all instruments for lessons are provided. Children can sign up to play the drums, electric guitar, base guitar, keyboard or vocals.
• Watch as your child performs in their end of term concerts, showing just how far they have come.
• Children learn up to 300 instrument, band, and performance skills, whilst playing songs they love.
• Children can achieve an Ofqual-regulated Music qualification, accredited by Trinity College London, without having to take a single exam.
• You’ll receive regular progress updates, including photos.
