Friends of Elloughton School Association - FESA
FESA's aim is to enhance our children's future through enriched learning. This is done primarily through fundraising in order to provide additional facilities and resources for the school. That's not the whole picture though, FESA has helped to support the school in so many other ways such as helping with developing the gardens and improving the school grounds. During the last few years FESA has done fantastically; they've been involved in running lots of events, and with great help and support from parents have raised amazing sums of money.
The slide show above shows images from a Halloween party we recently held at Blackburn Leisure Club, our Make a Gift for Someone Special event, Santa’s visit and a lovely letter received from the EYFS children.
Throughout the school year FESA superbly organise fundraising events with the help and support from parents. Events include bun days, discos, creating surprise gifts for someone special, Race Nights, Sports Day After Party, Santa visits and Christmas Fair, Easter events and many more. It's all great fun, and we'd love to get everyone involved in some way, whether it be helping to run FESA, or organising events, lending a hand or simply coming to enjoy and support the events.
The money raised has been used for items such as an outdoor classroom and play equipment, right through to baby chicks for the children of EYFS and of course helping contribute towards the platinum award winning Opal Play scheme. Funds have also paid for reading books, laptops and iPads.
We would love to add you to our members list! We have a WhatsApp group for our wider members letting them know of any forthcoming events and if help is needed. This is always optional and we don't expect people to help at all events! We always welcome new faces and are keen to hear from anyone who can help. We discuss a variety of items at meetings such as bids received from school, upcoming events and any future fundraising plans.
