Friends of Elloughton School Association (FESA)
Inspired to enrich, support and bring our school community together
The Friends of Elloughton School Association (FESA) aims to enhance our children’s future through enriched learning experiences.
This is achieved primarily through fundraising, which helps provide additional facilities and resources for the school.
However, fundraising is only part of what FESA does.
Over the years, FESA has supported the school in many other ways, including helping to develop the school gardens and improve the school grounds. In recent years, the group has been incredibly successful, organising a wide range of events and, with fantastic support from parents and the wider community, raising significant funds for the school.
Throughout the school year, FESA organises a variety of fundraising events with the help and support of parents. These include bun days, discos, surprise gift events, race nights, the Sports Day After Party, Santa visits, the Christmas Fair, Easter events and many more. These events are always great fun and provide wonderful opportunities for the school community to come together.
The money raised has funded a wide range of resources and experiences for the children. These include an outdoor classroom, new play equipment, baby chicks for the EYFS children, and contributions towards the Platinum Award-winning OPAL Play Scheme.
Funds have also helped to purchase reading books, laptops and iPads for use across the school as well as funding theatre visits, visitors and many other enriching opportunities for the children across the school.

The slide show above shows images from a Halloween party we held at Blackburn Leisure Club, our Make a Gift for Someone Special event, Santa’s visit and a lovely letter received from the EYFS children.
We are always keen to welcome new members to FESA. We have a WhatsApp group for our wider members where we share information about upcoming events and opportunities to help. Participation is entirely optional, and we understand that people can help in different ways. Whether you would like to help run FESA, organise events, lend a hand occasionally or simply attend and support events, your involvement would be greatly appreciated.
