Eating a healthy diet enables a child to live life to the full and gives them a better performance all round, specifically helping with their concentration levels - which in turn affects achievement.
So we encourage all of our children to have a school dinner. There's a great amount of choice for them suiting a variety of tastes. If you believe you may qualify for free school meals please access the East Riding Council website to apply:

School lunches from September 2018 will remain at £2.40 which equates to £12.00 per week.

Spring/Summer 2019 Lunch Menus
The teachers eat with the children regularly to encourage good table manners and conversation. We encourage independence at lunchtime and to support this the older children help serve the meals to the younger ones. The tables are also set out with cutlery and cups to encourage independence at the tables.
