007 pupil voice

                              007: Mission Pupil Voice
Giving every child a voice and shaping our school together

At Elloughton Primary School, we value the importance of pupil voice and ensuring that all children have the opportunity to share their views and contribute to school life.

The 007 Club works closely with the Leadership Team on areas of school development. The 007 Club is made up of a randomly selected group of pupils chosen using their number on the school register. This ensures a broad and representative range of voices, including children of different ages, abilities and experiences.

Pupils share their views through surveys and discussions with members of the Leadership Team, subject leaders and governors. This feedback is extremely valuable in helping us to evaluate the impact of school initiatives and to inform future developments.

The 007 Club meets regularly to explore key aspects of school life, including behaviour, learning and the wider school environment. Their findings are shared with the school community through the 007 display board.

What the 007 Club say
“We represent the school by giving a pupil perspective on school policies and strategies. We like going on missions to find things out and working together as a mixed-age group.”

Impact of the 007 Club
The 007 Club has contributed to:

  • Providing a pupil perspective on behaviour in school
  • Reviewing and improving assemblies
  • Evaluating the learning environment
  • Supporting the development of how we prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.

Leadership and Organisation
Meetings are led by the pupils, with guidance and support from Mrs Fulstow and Mrs Brammall. This helps children to develop confidence, leadership skills and a sense of responsibility.

Through the 007 Club, pupils play an active role in shaping our school and helping to make Elloughton an even better place to learn.
