Rex Respect
Celebrating respect in our school community
At Elloughton Primary School, we are proud of our “Rex Respect” reward, which is an important part of life in every class.
Rex is our class dinosaur and is awarded each week to a child who has shown respect in school. This might include showing respect to others, listening carefully, following expectations or taking care of our school environment.
The chosen child takes Rex home for the weekend as a special reward to celebrate their positive behaviour.
Each class has their own Rex, and children feel a great sense of pride when they are chosen. It is a special way of recognising those who consistently demonstrate respect and contribute positively to our school community.
Children are encouraged to share their experiences with Rex when they return to school.
